Roe v. Wade has been overturned, but the fight for life is not over. At the federal and the state level in New Jersey, legislators are pushing hard for radical abortion laws. And this culture of death extends to the elderly and disabled as well, with Assisted Suicide laws on the books in NJ.
Since abortion was legalized in 1973, there have been more than 60 million abortions in our country. Infanticide is now on the table, along with assisted suicide and euthanasia. We need to fight this culture of death with all the strength and love we have.
We would like to plan more activities:
Currently we do not have enough members to make these ideas come to life. We need your help, but we understand that you may not be able to commit to regular meetings or participation in every event! Therefore, we are offering three different levels of participation:
Planning (Core) Team:
Attends regular meetings, helps to plan Respect Life activities, organizes participants for projects, and participates in activities as needed.
Project Associate:
Participates in projects, but is not involved in planning, and does not need to attend regular meetings (but is always welcome). May participate in as many or as few projects as desired.
Prayer Associate:
Provides the support of prayers, at home, at church, and possibly at prayer vigils.
Please prayerfully consider volunteering for one of these levels of participation in the parish Respect Life group. Help us to save lives—babies and mothers, the elderly and the disabled!
