Catholic saints are holy people and human people who lived extraordinary lives. Each saint the Church honors responded to God's invitation to use his or her unique gifts. God calls each one of us to be a saint.
As part of the Year of Saint Joseph called for by Pope Francis, the National Shrine of St. Joseph will host a virtual conference and rededicate the saint’s statue. The event takes place on March 19, the Solemnity of St. Joseph, and includes a day of prayer and talks from Catholic leaders. Click the article title for more information.
During this Year of St. Joseph, we shall have a lamp burning weekly before his image in both churches. Anyone who wishes to dedicate this votive lamp for a deceased loved one or another special intention, please contact the parish office. For more information, click the article title.
