In 1969, St. Pope Paul VI began the custom of blessing the statuettes of the Infant Jesus that would be used in the manger scenes set up at home. We invite you, especially our children, to bring your “Gesu Bambino” to the 11:00 am Mass on December 15 to be blessed as we bring this delightful tradition to our parish.
Starting on the weekend of December 1, 2024, the Church will be celebrating the season of Advent, a time to anticipate the birth of Christ, the Light of the World. Our parish will continue its tradition of inviting families to carry the lighted Advent candle in procession at the beginning of each week-end Mass. Our parish will celebrate a new tradition following the "Bambinelli Sunday" tradition begun at the Vatican. All are invited to bring the Christ-child figure from their home creche to Mass on the third Sunday of Advent (December 17) to be blessed. Click here for more information.

There will be NO scheduled confession times on Saturday, December 24.
Starting the weekend of November 26 - 27, the Church will be celebrating the season of Advent. Our parish will return to its tradition of inviting families to carry the lighted Advent candle in procession at the beginning of each weekend Mass. If your family is interested in participating in this special tradition, please arrive at church 20 minutes before Mass starts and let the deacon know that you are interested in carrying in the Advent candle.
