The OLS-SA CYO Basketball program is open to all students of Our Lady of Sorrows and of the OLS-SA Religious Education Program. Students must attend at least 2 tryouts, which are all held in the Gym at Our Lady of Sorrows school.
Come and Experience God’s Grace and Mercy! Our Mission speaker, Fr. Dave Pivonka, T.O.R., will hold a special event for diocesan youth and young adults on Sunday, April 28, at St. Raphael's Church, beginning with Mass at 5:00 PM. Food and fellowship will follow in the Parish Center. Afterwards, there will be Eucharistic Adoration, teaching, reconciliation, and praise and worship. Please register, so we'll know how much food to provide!
On the Sunday before the Cohort Mission begins, April 28, St. Raphael-Holy Angels is hosting a Teen Life Mass with Fr. Pivonka, which will be followed by fellowship and pizza! Please join us! Have a preview of our mission speaker...be in the know!
Congratulations to the members of our parish family who were confirmed this weekend. We offer our thanks to their parents, sponsors, and catechists, who have prepared them for the gift of the Holy Spirit, and to Bishop David M O’Connell, who conferred the sacrament!

The youth of our cohort will be gathering at St. Raphael - Holy Angels Church for a night of adoration on April 28th. This will be an all-night event. Details will be coming shortly.
This Saturday, our parish offers a joyful welcome to His Excellency who will be here to confer the Sacrament of Confirmation on our young candidates. As we pray for those who will soon be “sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit,” let us commend to the Lord, our Bishop that he may continue to minister in good health and happiness “ad multos annos!”
Our parish is offering a pilgrimage trip for youth and young adults from grade 7 through college to see Emmitsburg, MD, where St. Elizabeth Ann Seton worked and the home of Mount St. Mary's University (where our own Msgr. Gervasio went to school). Click the article title for details.
