There will be a meeting of the Prayer Shawl Group on Monday, October 21, at 1:00 PM in the Church Meeting Room. Please come and meet the new leadership!

Those who share their talents by making Prayer Shawls for the sick, elderly, and others who need prayers and consolation will meet at 1:30 pm on Monday, March 11, in the OLS Church Meeting Room. Click here for more information, if you are interested in making shawls or donating yarn.

The Rosary Altar Prayer Shawl group will meet on Monday, February 12, at 1:00 PM in the Church Meeting Room at Our Lady of Sorrows. If you would like to make or have made prayer shawls, or would like to donate yarn, please join us! Click here for details.

Please note that the monthly Rosary Altar meeting will not be held in January, 2024; however, there will be a Prayer Shawl meeting on January 8.

The OLS-SA Prayer Shawl Ministry recently crocheted twelve beautiful and warm baby blankets. These blankets were donated to the Options For Women Hope Pregnancy Center in Trenton. The Respect Life Ministry thanks the Prayer Shawl members for this labor of love for those in need.

Yarn of any color is needed and will be collected for the Rosary Altar Prayer Shawl Makers next weekend, May 21-22. The group prays over the shawls as they make them, then gives them away to hospitals, nursing homes, kidney foundations, and cancer centers. Click the article title for details.
