April is Volunteer Recognition Month. Thank you to all who offer our parish and ministries their time and talents!

We extend our gratitude to all who assisted with the preparation for, or participated in, the liturgies of Holy Week and the Easter Triduum.

we acknowledge the wonderful work of our liturgy committee members, decorators, and maintenance and office staff who dedicated so many hours of their time to prepare our churches for the Christmas Celebration. We also thank all our liturgical ministers who assisted at the numerous Masses of the Christmas Vigil and Christmas Day.

Everyone—especially those who are not afraid of climbing ladders—is invited to help decorate Our Lady of Sorrows Church at 7:00 pm on Friday, December 22, for His arrival. Many hands will make light work, so bring your family and friends. This is a great opportunity for Confirmation candidates and high school students to earn service hours, too!

Our parish needs altar servers! Altar Servers assist the celebrant and/or deacon during Sunday Mass and at special liturgies and services throughout the year. A few “training sessions” will be provided. Click the article title for contact information.

Valerie is one of 26 teens recognized by the Diocese of Trenton this year for their exemplary involvement in the life of their parish. The St. Timothy Award—named for the young disciple and companion of St. Paul—recognizes young people who live out their faith by their humility, leadership, ministry, service, and holiness. Valerie serves at Mass and has been very active in OLS-SA’s youth group, encouraging teens from the parish’s Haitian Community to participate in the group’s activities.

Our parish is pleased to welcome Harry J. Bomm and Kate Kopera to the ranks of our altar servers.

If you haven't already done so, please submit, prior to June 30, all requests for your group’s use of facilities at Our Lady of Sorrows and/or St. Anthony campus from July 2017 through June 2018. Click the article title for more information.
