In order to allow our priests to concelebrate the Diaconate Ordination Mass of our parishioner, Nelson Abreu, on Saturday, May 18, at the Cathedral, confessions will not be heard following the 9:00 AM Mass.

Please keep in your prayers the boys and girls who will celebrate the Sacrament of Penance for the first time this Saturday, March 11. The Penance Service will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church at 11:00 am.

Please spread the word that confessions are held at both St. Anthony’s and Our Lady of Sorrows on Saturday afternoons, in addition to Saturday morning at Our Lady of Sorrows. The current schedule will remain in place for the time being, but may be adjusted according to need.

Effective on February 5, the use of the confessionals in our two churches is reinstated. It is strongly recommended, however, that penitents wear a mask for confession.

Our parish is holding a retreat for our young parishioners preparing to receive the Sacraments of Penance and the Holy Eucharist for the first time, this Saturday, February 19. May it help them better understand and appreciate the sacraments they will receive later this year. Please pray for them.

Confessions will no longer be heard on weekday evenings at OLS. Instead, they will be heard outside the north entrances of OLS Church after the 9 AM Saturday Mass and from 2:45 – 3:30 PM on Saturday.

Congratulations to our second grade boys and girls, who celebrated the Sacrament of Penance for the first time this Saturday. It is an important and joyful step in their spiritual journey!
