St. Gregory the Great Church in Hamilton Square is seeking candidates for the full-time position of Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE). The CRE oversees the formation of children in the Catholic Faith through their adolescent years. Click here for more information and a contact address.

Our Religious Education program officially starts on Sunday September 15th and Wednesday 18th. We will be emaiingl your child’s class assignment by August 26th. We request that all parents who have not registered their child please register as soon as possible.

Our parish Holy Name Society invites the men of our parish to join them in the call to evangelize and make acts of reverence and love for our Lord, and to carry out the spiritual and corporal acts of mercy. Weekly sessions will resume on Tuesday September 10 at 7pm.

Our 28th annual Golf Classic is on the horizon and we hope many golfers will mark their calendars to participate—September 30th at Mercer Oaks! Our annual parish picnic to be held in September requires enthusiasm and planning. Please consider being part of our committee to make this year’s picnic a great success! Our annual Summer Project is again underway. Registered parishioners should have received a brochure and offering envelope. I hope that you will review the information and support the work we hope to undertake this summer to maintain and upgrade our church campuses and make them even safer. Clothes say something about what we think, what we value. They also influence how we behave and feel. That our culture has become so casual about everything says something about us. I cannot exactly articulate it but it seems to say, “Nothing is really all that important.” But that is not true. Going to God’s house IS important.
