We are very pleased to announce that our parish has received its share in the funds raised through the 2023 diocesan Annual Catholic Appeal. Having slightly surpassed our goal of $100,000, we have received a check in the amount of $20,138 for our own parish needs. Thanks again to all our donors!

Please keep in your prayers the boys and girls who celebrated the Sacrament of Penance for the first time last Saturday, February 24, at Our Lady of Sorrows.

The 2024 Annual Catholic Appeal is now underway and already, 16 OLS-SA donors have made gifts or pledges totaling $5,941—6% of our goal! A warm welcome is extended to all those attending this year’s Irish Unity Mass, which will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Anthony (626 South Olden Avenue in Hamilton), at 10 am on Saturday, March 2.

This year's Lenten Work of Charity is to help rebuild the residence for the priests and seminarians of the Institute Voluntas Dei, which was destroyed by widespread looting. All poor box donations during Lent will be dedicated to the Work of Love.
