Our young candidates for First Holy Communion will be gathering this Saturday, April 6, for a retreat to prepare for this sacred encounter with the Lord. Our celebration of First Communion will be held on Saturday, May 4. Let us keep our young parishioners in prayer as we thank their parents and catechists.

We invite interested parishioners to participate in the Washing of the Feet ceremony during the Holy Thursday liturgy. The Solemn Mass of the Lord’s Supper takes place at 7:00 p.m. on April 18 at St. Anthony Church. There will be a rehearsal for the twelve participants prior to Holy Thursday. If you signed up for the Rosary Altar Society’s April 3 bus trip to see the Sight & Sound Production of Jesus, please note that the bus will arrive at OLS at 7:45 am and depart OLS at 8:00 am sharp. Please park along the back fence. You will return to OLS at approximately 6 pm.

This weekend, March 30-31, is your last chance to order a Palm Cross. The cross is approximately 12 x 20" and made of looped palms on a wooden cross, and mounted on a stake, which makes a suitable cemetery adornment. Click the article title for more details.

This year's mission is the Lumen Christi Cohort Mission 2019, and will be hosted at St. Raphael Church. Our parish will be hosting the second night, which means we will be providing the greeters, ushers, book sale staff, and child care, and we need your help to do this!
