The Parish Respect Life Committee wishes to thank all those who participated in the campaign to ban late term abortion in New Jersey. A total of 725 post card sets were signed. These will be addressed and delivered to our legislators. Anyone who missed the opportunity last week but wants to send a postcard can sign up at the parish office.
We are pleased to inform you that our parish received a rebate check from the Diocese of Trenton in the amount of $15,320. This is part of the parish sharing component of the “Faith to Move Mountains” Campaign for the period ending December 31, 2018. Many parishioners responded positively to our recent “Increased Offertory Appeal.” I am grateful that so many understood the need to improve our weekly level of giving so that our parish can remain on a solid financial base. I encourage all those who returned the appeal’s commitment envelope to remain faithful to their new level of weekly or monthly giving. I encourage those who did not respond to the appeal last fall to prayerfully consider making an increase in their weekly gift as their means permit.
