The Spirit of St. France Fraternity of the Secular Franciscan Order will gather in St. Anthony Church at 9:15 AM on October 27 for the recitation of the Crown Rosary. They will attend the 10:00 AM Mass, then hold their meeting in the Church Hall directly after Mass.

The Rite of Welcoming is the official acceptance of those who wish to join the Catholic Church as candidates and catechumens. This is the first step they will take on their journey to baptism, confirmation and first holy communion at the Easter Vigil. October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Month, and the 15th is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Everyone all over the world is invited to light a candle on October 15 at 7:00 PM and keep it burning for at least an hour. This will create a continuous wave of light over the entire world in memory of our babies. Those we cannot hold in our arms, we hold forever in our hearts.
At all Masses during the next two weekends (October 19-20, and 26-27), we shall be recording attendance. These statistics are mandated by the Diocese, and are useful for diocesan and parish planning.
