The president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops has called for a "moment of prayer" to unite Catholics across the country at a time when there is "much unrest and uncertainty" in the United States.
To that end, the USCCB will host a virtual rosary event Oct. 7, which is the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.
Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., invited faithful in the Diocese of Trenton to take part, saying,
“Please join the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, priests, deacons, religious and Catholics across the country in praying a virtual Rosary in a moment of unified prayer for America. We pause in a moment of prayer for America at this time when there is so much unrest and uncertainty. We ask Our Lady to lead us to her son Jesus, the Prince of Peace.”
