At this season when we celebrate the feast of the Holy Family and the Flight into Egypt, the Lawrenceville Associates in Mission of the Sisters of Saint Joseph invite you to a first-hand account of happenings at the Southern US Border. Associate Mary Vanderhoof and Sister Rita Woehlcke will share their experiences of serving at the border, and the changes happening beginning in February 2019 and continuing until November of 2019.
This presentation happens to coincide with the first day of the Catholic Church in the United States' observance of National Migration Week. The theme this year is "Promoting a Church and a World for All". So coming to hear about their experiences at the border is a great way to participate and raise awareness about the needs of migrants and refugees. All are welcome.
Sunday, January 5, from 2 to 4 pm at the Church of St. Ann (1251 Lawrenceville Road in Lawrenceville). Contact Mary Malley (
