I would be remiss if I did not express to all parishioners my thanks for their great patience, understanding, and wonderful cooperation as we navigated through the most disconcerting period of the COVID-19 pandemic, especially with the wearing of masks and the need for social distancing. I am also most grateful to all those who generously gave of their time after Masses and other services to sanitize the pews and other furnishings. When all of this began, I asked everyone to heed the advice of St. Francis deSales: “What we need is a cup of understanding, a barrel of love, and an ocean of patience.” Our parishioners possess these in abundance!
