Capital Improvements Update

Saint Anthony Campus

At this writing, the former convent is more than half razed and plans are underway for the design of a parking area. We shall of course be given some direction by the Township Planning Board while trying to maximize the number of parking spaces and address a drainage issue that is adversely affecting the church hall. In our parking design, we shall retain on the campus the lovely stone niche dedicated to Our Lady.

All the lower flat roofs of the church have been re-coated. Thus completed, we can begin the plaster repairs needed in various areas, particularly over the central doors.

Our Lady of Sorrows Campus

The sealing of the foundation along the front of the school as well as the replacement of the water main pipe have been completed. The library carpeting has also been replaced.

The air conditioning units will soon be installed now that we have made necessary upgrades to the electrical system.

Three small vestibules in the church need to be refurbished to complement the others renovated.
