Becoming Aware…Getting Involved!

The recent news of the leak of a draft of the pending US Supreme Court decision regarding the case of Roe vs. Wade, has ignited a wave of protests throughout the US, many of which have specifically targeted not only the homes of the Justices but also Catholic churches. In the midst of voices so loud and extreme, it is vital that the Gospel of Life be heard, understood, and heeded.

Over the next few weeks through our bulletin, website, and “pulpit announcements,” we shall take up this challenge and seek your participation in the work of our Parish Respect Life Group which has a number of goals:

• Keep parishioners aware of the assault on human life within our culture
• Organize participation in pro-life events
• Support local Centers that help women to choose life
• Encourage action on legislative proposals on life issues
• Organize pro-life prayer services throughout the year
• Increase group membership
