RCIA—First Scrutiny

The Elect today take another step toward the celebration of the Easter Sacrament in the Rite of the first of three “scrutinies.” They are meant to uncover and heal all that is weak in their hearts. They are meant to deliver them from the power of sin and Satan, to protect them from temptation, and strengthen them in Church.
