Memorial of St. Jean Marie Vianney

On Thursday, August 4, please remember in prayer all priests on this their patronal feast. St. Jean, universally known as the "Cure d'Ars" (parish priest of Ars, France), died in 1859 and was a compassionate spiritual counselor who spent usually no less than 11 hours a day in the confessional in the winter, and 16 hours during the summer.
