We are delighted to share the news that Joseph Stillwell, a parishioner and an alumnus of Our Lady of Sorrows School (Class of 2015) has been awarded the full-tuition “Most Reverend David M. O’Connell Service Scholarship” at the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C.
This four year scholarship, established to honor our Bishop, who served as the University’s President, is one of the university’s most prestigious awards. It is offered to one student from the Diocese of Trenton who has shown a commitment to service to their school, parish, and community. At the parish level, Joseph has been a faithful member of our youth group as well as a faithful altar server.
Congratulations, Joseph! Our parish proudly congratulates you and wishes you a successful and rewarding time at CUA!
