Many families are still facing the challenge of putting food on the table. Please remember those who are hungry and place your nonperishable donations for Mount Carmel Guild and St Raphael’s Food Pantry in the receptacles at the doors of our churches.
Feeding the hungry never ceases to be important. Food pantries always need staples such as peanut butter, jelly, cereal, soup, pasta, pasta sauce, and canned vegetables, but any nonperishables (such as hygiene items, cleaning supplies, and paper and plastic bags) you can donate to Mt Carmel Guild or St Raphael’s Food Pantry are greatly appreciated. Just place them in the receptacles at the doors of our churches.
The Food Pantry Partnership will happily accept all types of nonperishable food and can always use pantry staples as well as basic hygiene and cleaning supplies. Thanks to your generosity, the pantry has been able to help so many people in need!
If you know of anyone in need, please let them know that the pantry (located at St Raphael’s Parish Center, 151 Gropp Ave, Hamilton) will be open from 9 to 11 AM on December 16 (Christmas Distribution).
Those needing food must stay in their cars and pop open their trunks. The pantry volunteers will load up the groceries. Cars start lining up at 7:30 a.m. Pre-registration is not required.
Remember, we also continue to provide food donations to Trenton’s Mount Carmel Guild. Please place your donations in the receptacles at the doors of our churches.
