High School Placement Test Prep Class

Villa Victoria Academy will be offering a TEST PREP CLASS for any 8th grade student taking the High School Placement Test (HSPT) this fall. All 8th grade students are welcome.

The class will introduce the test format, how the test is scored, how to time oneself to finish the test and strategies to do well.

The class will meet at Villa Victoria Academy from 5:00-6:30 pm on September 21, 23, & 30 and October 5 & 7.

Cost is $60 for all five classes, payable on the first day, cash or check.

The class is being taught by Mrs. Janet Stankus, who has provided tutoring services for standardized test preparation (including for the HSPT, SSAT, SAT and ACT) for 12 years. She holds a degree in civil engineering and a Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Elementary Education.

Villa's HSPT Test Dates

Saturday, November 6, 8:45 am to noon
Saturday, November 13, 8:45 am to noon
Parent Information sessions will be offered both days from 9 - 10 am.
The cost of the test is $40, cash or check, payable on test day.
The HSPT is required for all freshman applicants at Villa.
Priority consideration for scholarships is given to girls testing at Villa in November.
