Handbell Choir Needs Ringers

In September 2013, the handbell choir will celebrate its 26th anniversary of serving our parish family. The handbell choir is composed of parishioners who have provided many years of service.

At this point in its history, however, the choir desperately needs ringers. The only requirement is that you must be able to "read" and "count" a measure of music. No previous handbell experience is necessary.

The bell choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7:15 to 8:45 from September to May, and serves at liturgy once a month on a rotating schedule. The bell choir does not rehearse or perform during the months of June, July, and August.

It would be a shame for our parish if this valuable ministry was lost. Those who are interested and/or curious should call the bell choir director, Pat Potavin, at 890-2038.
