By long tradition the month of March is dedicated to St. Joseph. Let us turn to him in prayer this month. He is the husband of Mary, the guardian of the Lord Jesus, the patron of the Universal Church and of workers. Cardinal Martini wrote: “The figure of Joseph allows us to grasp a fundamental teaching: we need to have a hope that is patient, that can wait, as he did, a hope that knows how to suffer with a humble spirit through difficult situations, sure that God will answer.”
