About the Artists
Joanna Latini, Soprano—Joanna is an onstage presence not to be missed. Her inspired performances are gaining recognition on the operatic, recital, and competition stages. She has performed with the Wolf Trap Opera, Bach Choir of Pittsburgh, Miami Summer Music Festival, and was a National semi-finalist in the Classical Singer competition.
Michael Maliakel, Baritone—As a professional NYC-based singer, Michael is getting applause for his refined singing in repertoire; spanning from opera to art song and musical theater. He received top awards in the 2014 National Music Theater Competition, was a finalist in the Philadelphia Orchestra Albert M. Greenfield Competition, and was the 2015 Courtney Knight Gaines Foundation Gold Medal winner in the American Traditions Competition.
