Covid Information Vaccinations— The highest doctrinal authorities in the Church (Pope and the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, and the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, and the Bishop of this Diocese) have determined and advised that it is morally permissible to take the available vaccines and have encouraged (not mandated) people to get vaccinated. It must be voluntary, according to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith as well as the Catholic Medical Association. Free vaccinations are available at St. Francis Medical Center Lobby on Hamilton Ave. No appointment is needed. Call 609-599-5619 for details. Wearing of Masks—Our Governor and the State Health Commissioner strongly recommend that both vaccinated and unvaccinated residents wear masks in indoor settings where there is increased risk. At this point, this is a recommendation and not a mandate.
