Celebrate with Us

Next Sunday—the final Sunday in the Church year—we celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, also known as the Feast of Christ the King.

As a special way to honor the Kingship of Christ, our parish will celebrate a Eucharistic Procession and Benediction at the conclusion of the 11:00 AM Mass next Sunday at Our Lady of Sorrows church. This is a venerable custom that highlights the Real Presence of the Lord in the Eucharist. In an ostensorium, or monstrance, the Most Blessed Sacrament will be solemnly carried through Church—recalling how Jesus walked among his people bringing them the power of His truth, comfort, and healing. Please make a special effort to be present for this manifestation of faith and love for the Lord.
