Cursillo is a worldwide evangelization movement of the Catholic Church. It provides a method of living a Christian Life where one’s spirituality may be developed, lived, and shared. The Cursillo is designed to make it possible to live in union with Christ and to desire to bring others to Christ. Please join us for the celebration of the Eucharist with the Cursillo community. Cursillo is the Spanish word for "short course." The short course nourishes our hearts and minds and reminds us of the role that God plays in our lives.
It helps to promote Christ-centered, small group faith communities.
Cursillo was founded in Spain the late 1940s. Over a million people worldwide have been through a three-day "short course" which focuses on strengthening our relationship with God and others.
Cursillo focuses on three concepts:
Holiness - what helps my spiritual growth?
Formation - what helps me be more Christian?
Evangelization - what can I do to bring change in myself and others?
Cursillo is a spiritual exercise that has been offered in the Diocese of Trenton for over 40 years and more than three thousand people in the diocese have participated in a Cursillo short course. Cursillo is an opportunity to look at ourselves and our relationship with God and offers tools to promote spiritual growth in our everyday life. Want more information? Email or call us (
