Calling All Eucharistic Ministers!

As we get back to some of our outreach services, our parish finds itself in great need of Eucharistic Ministers to our homebound brothers and sisters, as well as our neighboring nursing homes. The Eucharistic Ministry to the Homebound and Nursing Homes is a very rewarding ministry indeed. Most of those you will visit are parishioners who have served our parish and the church all of their lives. These visits keep them connected to our parish and the church in only the way the Eucharist can.

Visits to the homebound can be scheduled at your convenience and are usually once a week, once every other week or once a month. Nursing Home visits are once weekly on Wednesday at 2 pm at either Mercerville Nursing Center or Hamilton Grove. Visits to the nursing homes usually last for an hour. Please consider this most worthy ministry. Training and mentoring will be available to all who are interested. Please call Susan at the parish office (609-587-4372).
