A Note from Fr. Carter

Dear Parishioners of Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony,

I was told as a seminarian that as a priest my first parish assignment will be like my first love. Though I doubted this as I began my priestly ministry, I believe it now. Thank you all for making my first five years of priesthood the most memorable and fulfilling of my life. And thank you for such a warm good-bye party on my last Sunday and for all your gifts. As a priest you can easily forget what impact all the little things you do have on people's lives. But, in this moment it was very manifest and I am grateful. I only ask now that you continue to pray for me as I continue to answer God's call in my life.
