A Heartfelt and Prayerful Farewell, Deacon Jeff & Jean Pierfy

With gratitude and affection we offer our prayerful best wishes to Deacon Jeffery and Jean Pierfy as they re-locate to South Carolina later this month. Deacon Jeff and his loving wife Jean have been longtime parishioners and have ministered to our community with particular love and dedication. Our great loss will surely be South Carolina’s gain.

How can we adequately express to them our thanks for all they have done? Over the years, Deacon Jeff has been a faithful deacon, carrying out all the liturgical ministries of his sacred order with joy. He is been a fine homilist, counselor, and pastoral minister to the sick within our parish and at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center. Jean has been a tremendous support to Deacon Jeff’s extensive ministry and was a dedicated pastoral assistant for the parish for many years, arranging funerals and weddings, and as an advocate for the annulment process.

We hope you can join us when Deacon Jeff assists at the
11:00 am Mass on Sunday, March 10^th.
Refreshments will follow in the Church Hall.
