Ministries for the Sick, Elderly, and Homebound

Please notify the parish office (587-4372) if you or your immediate family member is hospitalized, goes into a rehabilitation, assisted living, or skilled nursing care facility, or becomes homebound (either temporarily or over a longer term). Health care facilities no longer routinely notify parishes when parishioners are admitted, so the only way for us to know is if you call us.

In case of serious illness, contact the parish office (587-4372) to arrange for the Anointing of the Sick.

• Special Ministers of the Eucharist will bring Holy Communion to homebound parishioners and those in local medical facilities.
• The parish’s Caring Hearts group provides volunteer services (1-2 hours per week) to homebound seniors and people with disabilities. If you or someone you know would like a friendly visitor or help with shopping, transportation, chores, paperwork, or other non-medical needs, please call Anne Kantor at 586-6596.
• Those who are ill can be included in the Prayer List that appears in the weekly bulletin if they would like parishioners to offer prayers for them. All it takes is a call to the parish office, but please understand that you must have the permission of the individual involved in order for his or her name to appear.
