O Lord and God,
we cannot desire more for others than what we desire for ourselves.
For this reason I beg you:
after my death, do not separate me for those that I loved so dearly on earth.
Grant, O Lord, I beg you, that they will be where I am, so that there in heaven I may be able to rejoice in their presence, since I was so quickly deprived of it on earth.
O Sovereign God, I implore you, to hasten to welcome these beloved children in the bosom of life. In exchange for such a brief life on earth, grant them eternal happiness.
