The library is located in the basement of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, directly across from the door to the Parish Office.
Have you ever wanted to read St. Augustine's Confessions?
Confessions is the story of St. Augustine's life, including his conversion to Catholicism, and a wonderful prayer to God. He is one of the greatest doctors of the Church and it can be said that all Western theology is a footnote to St. Augustine. Even though the world has changed since this work was first written fifteen centuries ago, St. Augustine's insight and love of God continue to inspire people even to this day.
If you'd like to join the group that has been reading St. Augustine's Confessions (his most well-known work), we are currently on Book 8, and plan to continue until we complete this masterwork. The group meets about every other week.
Please contact Fr. Carter for details by calling the parish office or emailing tcarter@ols-sa.org.
