Prayer Shawl Meeting

Location: Church Meeting Room, OLS

The Church Meeting Room is on the Our Lady of Sorrows campus, in the church basement. You can enter through the doors closest to the street, or through the doors at the rear (where the elevator is), and go around inside toward the street side of the basement.

Prayer shawls are knit or crocheted with prayers for the intended recipient. You can make them in the comfort of your own home, and then bring them to our monthly meetings for distribution to those who need them in nursing homes, dialysis centers, etc.

You can also make baby blankets to be donated to local crisis pregnancy centers.

If your yarn stash is beginning to overwhelm you, you can donate yarn you don't need to our prayer shawl group, and let us add it to our stashes!
