Keeping Up Our Appearance

Very often parishioners and visitors, with the best of intentions, bring to church outdated religious magazines, broken rosaries and statues, old "holy cards" and a plethora of mailings they receive from mission organizations. They place them at the church doors, where they only serve to clutter the church and make additional work for our maintenance team, who must dispose of them.

Kindly refrain from bringing such items to church. To dispose of them yourself:

• Bulk mailings from the missions can be placed in the recycle or trash bin.
• Broken religious items, if not blessed, may also be placed in the trash.
• Blessed items should be buried or burned. This can be done at home, and the items need not be brought to church.
