Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA)

If you would like to become a Catholic, or are just curious about what Catholicism is and what we believe as Catholics, please join us in the RCIA classes, which are held weekly from September through April.

RCIA (The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the process whereby adults enter the Catholic Church. RCIA classes are held weekly, and over the course of several months those who attend the RCIA classes are educated on what the Catholic Church believes and are given the opportunity to ask questions about those beliefs. 

Just because you start RCIA, doesn't mean you are committed to finishing. If you are merely curious about what Catholicism is, please feel free to come. All are welcome.

Meetings are held in the Church Meeting Room on the Our Lady of Sorrows campus, on Tuesday evenings, from September through April, at 7:30 – 9:00 pm, unless otherwise scheduled.
